Objectives Review

A stand-alone low-commitment consultation and is an easy first step as the best starting point for your building or renovation project.

It takes the form of a face to face meeting, either on site, at your place, or in my office to assess the conditions of your site and any existing buildings and explore ideas for improvement.

Then we define strategies, budget, time frame and an action plan for the planning and administrational hurdles along the way.

After getting a clear idea of the scope we work out what architectural services will best suit your needs, and I define my corresponding fees for the various project stages.

At a very low cost the Objectives Review provides you with a clear project road map. If you then go on to engage me for Architectural Services the O.R. fee will be fully refunded.

This initial site meeting with prospective clients also gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit for the project before signing an agreement.

Service 2

Design Services

You probably have some ideas already of what you would like to build or change.

Whether these ideas are in the form of mud-maps or wish-lists I can help make your design ideas reality by putting flesh on those bones as well as incorporating ideas you may not have thought of for not just a successful design, but one that exceeds your expectations.


You may know of a builder that you want to engage. I also have good relationships with a number of local builders that I know and trust. I will discuss the project with various builders to gauge their interest and availability, as well as getting their input on possible savings / improvements from their perspective. In this process I will endeavour to find the right builder for your project to reach a successful outcome.



Service 3

Documentation

This phase involves developing the detail of the design further and adding information to the documents up to the level the builders need to work from.


In this phase I will also get fee proposals from the various other consultants needed for your project, and make my recommendations for you to engage them.


Typically these other consultants include Soil testing, Structural engineer, Energy consultant and Building Surveyor.


Sometimes reports might also be needed from other disciplines such as Bushfire, Wastewater management, Heritage, landslip and roadworks.


Throughout, I manage the process and coordinate my documentation with the input from all these other consultants.
